Project risk analysis services

Large software projects involve many stakeholders, and vehicle software projects are no exception. In fact, they are among the most complex software projects a team can undertake.

Much of the risk comes from the number of moving parts, people, suppliers, and organisations involved. Even if only a few companies are directly engaged in your systems integration project, the vehicle itself may still directly depend on 20 or more organisations, including battery, motor, inverter, power distribution, and climate system manufacturers, along with their respective software teams.

Bringing all development in-house is not always the answer. Developing new IP can be significantly riskier than using proven off-the-shelf IP and components, especially when time, cost, and reliability matter.

A detailed project risk analysis helps you identify both internal and external risks, consider upsides and downsides, and put right-sized processes in place to control them. This small but mighty due-diligence package gives your software project the structure, foresight, and resilience it needs to stay on track.

Our services in this area:

  • identify software program risks.
  • identify supplier risks, such as component lifecycle, quality and validation.
  • prepare risk actions that can be assigned and tracked by the project team.

Cuedo Controls uses formal methods to surface risks early and create robust plans to control them.
